CSA Share, Week Three, Day Six

Time to get ready for the next pickup tomorrow, so I blanched and froze the rest of the swiss chard in my veggie drawer, after saving some of it to saute up into my omelet this morning.   I separated the stems off the chard, and washed and diced them up and froze them separately; they will be good in a soup this fall or winter.  I also peeled and sliced up another kohlrabi to snack on throughout the day.  However, I did ignore those radishes again!  I think they’ll be fine until tomorrow when I will slice them up and put them into my weekly salad greens bowl.

Tomorrow I will do something with my turnips, chinese cabbage, and garlic scapes, and then I’ll be in good shape for the next batch of veggies.
